Bio
Ana Díaz Korin is a queer Venezuelan artist interested in translating cycles of upheaval and decline into pattern-based color abstractions. Influenced by their personal experience with displacement and the visual language of urban decay, their painting practice is driven by finding beauty in abandonment, collapse, acts of repair, and commuting. They received a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2023 and are currently a MFA Fine Arts candidate at the California College of the Arts.
